"It feels inspiring to come to HV71. I look forward to taking new steps in my development as a hockey player and contributing with hard-working games. It will be super fun to play in front of the fans in a boiling Husqvarna Garden, says Åke Stakkestad.

HV71 has signed a contract with the 20-year-old forward that spans two years.

"In Åke, we get a player with a high working capacity and a great attitude. A guy who is tough to face and likes to put pressure all over the court. I'm excited to see him take on SHL games," Norberg said.
