An agent of the National Police is entrenched since Wednesday night in a farmhouse in Atarfe (Granada) surrounded by members of the Civil Guard who try to negotiate with him after he has threatened to blow up the house.

The man is alone in the building and it is unknown if he is armed, as detailed to Europa Press sources close to the device, after last night he transferred a companion of the body who wanted to shoot his wife.

In the vicinity of the woman's home, a Civil Guard device was activated to guarantee her safety, although she is well and transferred to the agents that she had not received threats in this regard and did not report any type of aggression.

The farmhouse is located on the road known as Albarrate de Atarfe (Granada), on the outskirts of this town, where a Civil Guard device has been activated with the support of the Local Police of the municipality.

The agent, who according to the first information could be on leave although the National Police Corps has not confirmed this end, has threatened to blow up the farmhouse if the troops approach him. At the moment, the Civil Guard is trying to negotiate with him to put down his attitude.
