"The state of health of Stromae does not allow him again to ensure the three concerts scheduled this week at the Zenith in Nantes, from March 29 to 31. We are therefore forced to cancel these three performances," Auguri Productions said in a statement.

The 38-year-old from Brussels, very popular in France, is currently on a European tour to promote his album "Multitude", released a year ago.

He returned to the stage in the summer of 2022 after a long period of absence caused by burnout when he had chained concerts for the album of his consecration, "Racine Carrée", released in 2013.

Last week, its producers had justified by "medical reasons", without further details, the cancellation of three concerts in the east of the France.

Stromae, whose real name is Paul Van Haver, is one of the French-speaking artists who sells the most music in the world.

He shone in February at the Victoires de la musique in France. "Multitude" was crowned best album and himself male artist of the year.
