"The demand for vinyl records in Russia by the end of 2022 increased by 51% compared to the previous year ... Compared to 2020, the demand for vinyl records among Russians has grown even more noticeably - almost four times (by 296%)," the portal writes.
It is specified that along with this, the demand for record players has also increased, although in smaller volumes. In 2022, their sales exceeded the figures of 2021 by 3% and by 102% by 2020.
According to the portal, mainly purchases of records and turntables were carried out in Moscow and megacities.
