According to sources, it is expected that the Bundestag Budget Committee on March 29 will approve the plans of German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius to more than double the amount of assistance to Ukraine in 2023 - up to € 5.4 billion.

Berlin plans to send another € 8.8 billion to Kiev in the coming years if necessary, sources said.

Earlier, the press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the message of the publication Der Spiegel that the Ministry of Finance of Germany intends to agree on an increase in military assistance to Ukraine.
