According to reports, the DPRK Nuclear Weapons Research Institute reported to Kim Jong-un on the latest nuclear weapons development direction and strategic guidelines, and strengthened the recent work and production of North Korea's nuclear forces in terms of both quality and quantity.

Kim Jong-un specifically learned about the technical data and structural characteristics of the new tactical nuclear weapons based on the means of use and operational objectives of nuclear weapons, as well as the targets of strike, and the interchangeability with various weapon systems.
