The Minister of Agriculture, Marc Fesneau, was the guest of Europe 1 on Monday. At the microphone of Sonia Mabrouk, the elected returned to the demonstrations against the megabasin of Sainte-Soline, and the violent clashes of this weekend around the latter. For Marc Fesneau, the anti-basin movements are "anti-democratic and anti-ecological" movements.

The fight is not over. Nearly 6,000 people came this Saturday around the village of Sainte-Soline in the Deux-Sèvres to denounce the megabasin project in the territory. This water reservoir, which pumps out the surplus of the precious liquid when the aquifers are full, should make it possible to partially solve the problems of drought in the area.

A nonsense for many environmental and far-left activists, who have already met five times against the project. So this Saturday, hundreds of people dressed in black, equipped with helmets and masks, decided to fight with the police.
