"All that is required of Kiev is to confirm that it will not subject the nuclear power plant to the shelling that it has carried out many times in the past. As of today, Ukrainians are not ready to confirm such a simple thing," he told RIA Novosti.

According to the diplomat, representatives of Kiev are trying to transfer the dialogue to another plane, talking about "demilitarization" or "de-occupation".

Earlier, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said that the organization is no longer considering the possibility of creating a demilitarized zone around the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.

Adviser to the General Director of rosenergoatom renat Karchaa said that Grossi's visit to the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant and the rotation of the organization's inspectors should take place on March 29.
