According to him, Russia's plans may be to take control of the right-bank Ukraine, at least from Kharkiv and Poltava to the south.

"So what could be in Russia's plans for the next year? What is the strategic operation? Either the entire left-bank Ukraine, or, possibly, the south of the right bank, "the Ukrainian edition of Facts quoted Muzhenko as saying.

He noted that what is happening now will last for a long time, unless there are some "political agreements."

Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia is preparing its decisions in connection with the preparation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the offensive.

He also noted that Ukraine is absolutely dependent on military assistance from the outside, without it the Kiev regime would not have existed for a week.
