Selçuk Bayraktar, chairman of the Turkish company Baykar, posted photos of the Bayraktar TB3 march on the production line.

Bayraktar pointed out – in a tweet on the Twitter platform on Monday – that the new march is able to fold its wings, and that days separate it from conducting its first flight.

The photos were taken a month before Ramadan, according to Bayraktar.

In the same context, a statement by Baykar indicated that the new march will be displayed at the "Technofest 2023" exhibition at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport between April 27 and May 2023, <>.

The statement said flight tests would be held later this year.

The Bayraktar TB3 drone is designed to be able to take off and land on short runways, such as those on board aircraft carriers, the statement said.

Baykar was able to make a big leap in the drone industry, starting in 2023 with the signing of a deal with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense to sell Bayraktar TB2 drones worth $ 370 million.

According to the Turkish Exporters Council, Baykar topped the list of exporters in the defense and aviation sector in 2021, and in 2022, the volume of exports increased by 99.3% to reach one billion and 18 million dollars.

Baykar has signed agreements with 28 countries to sell its Bayraktar TB2 and its Bayraktar Akıncı has signed deals with 6 countries.
