The Municipal Police has arrested an employee of the Eurostars Madrid Tower hotel accused of publishing racist comments on his Instagram profile against the Moroccan football team, which is staying these days in that establishment, police sources have reported.
It is a worker of Spanish nationality and 27 years who allegedly wrote, among other comments, the following insults: "The selection of Morocco in the Towers, you are a ball player. Damn shitty Moors. I shit in Ramadan and its fucking dead."
The Moroccan team is staying at the aforementioned hotel as it will face Peru in a friendly match to be played tomorrow Tuesday at 21:30 p.m. at the Estadio Cívitas Metropolitano in the capital.
The employee attached several images in which members of the Moroccan expedition appeared in the dining room of the hotel and protested, according to another publication, that he was "servicing the shit of Ramadan and his fucking shitty beliefs."
The insults caused a stir in the media of the neighboring country and among its fans, which led the hotel worker to delete the publications of his profile and even to apologize on the same social network. But his reaction was useless, multiplying the reactions of indignation and the calls to publish bad reviews of the Madrid establishment.
The agents of the National Police appeared at the Eurostars Madrid Tower, located in the business park of the Four Towers in the north of the capital, to arrest the author of the comments of a racist nature, who is accused of a hate crime.
