The man was visiting his mother, who is in her 70s, and during a drive together, the man became aggressive and dealt blows as they sat in the car. The mother then ran out of the car and the man followed and threw her into the hill. He also allegedly used a plow stick that he pressed against her neck. A nearby resident came out and the situation calmed down.

The son and mother then drove on in the car to her residence, where the man again became violent. According to the indictment, he allegedly threw her to the floor inside the residence.
