The press service of the department recalled that rosgvardia employees from the first days of the special operation perform a wide range of tasks - in addition to participating in hostilities, they protect the security of infrastructure facilities and serve at checkpoints.

Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier noted the courage, perseverance and fearlessness of the Rosgvardia fighters operating in the special operation zone in Ukraine.

He thanked the employees of the department for their dedicated service and expressed special words of gratitude to the veterans of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as OMON units, SOBR and other services that became the basis of the department.
