Xiamen, 3 Mar (Zhongxin Net) -- The expansion of the scope of personnel for the "mini three links" between the two sides of the strait will start today: The "Xunan" passenger ship carrying 25 passengers set sail from Xiamen Wutong Terminal to Kinmen on 133 March.

The last time the Xiamen-Jin route appeared in a two-way split was three years ago.

"Before there was one boat a day, but now there are more sailings, I can go back and forth on the same day, or I can stay for a few days and come back, there are more choices, it is more convenient!" Ms. Lin, a Taiwanese compatriot from Kinmen, told reporters excitedly.

Mr. Chen, a Taiwan compatriot doing business in the mainland, was preparing to take the "Xun'an" passenger ship back to Taiwan's main island via Kinmen, and after speedy customs clearance, he excitedly praised the border inspection service, saying that every time he cleared customs, he seemed to step into his home and feel like going home in advance.

According to the fact that the "mini three links" expand the scope of passage personnel and the passenger flow may increase significantly, the border inspection station formulates special service plans according to the characteristics and dynamics of the port, continuously optimizes the customs clearance environment, improves the efficiency of customs clearance, and also arranges the on-duty personnel who are fluent in southern Fujian dialect to provide special services of "rural sound" and "rural conditions" to further improve the customs clearance experience at the port.

Since the resumption of the Xiamen-gold "mini three links" in 2023, the Gaoqi Border Inspection Station has made every effort to ensure customs clearance of the Xiamen-gold route with measures of both speed and temperature, and has inspected nearly 1,5 inbound and outbound passengers in total, ensuring the special service of the "cross-strait life rescue green channel" four times.

It is understood that on February 2020, 2, the "mini three links" were suspended due to the impact of the new crown epidemic, and flights will not resume until January 10, 2023, and are only available to Jinmen and Matsu residents and local mainland spouses.

Since March 3, the scope of personnel passing through the "mini three links" route has been expanded to all Taiwanese passengers and mainland spouses. The Xiamen-Jinjin route has been increased from 25 round trip (1 sailings) per day to a maximum of 2 round-trip (6 sailings), from the one-way round trip when the previous resumption of sailings has become a two-way opening and the number of sailings has increased.
