In a statement on the website of the UOC, it is noted that on March 29, Kyiv theological schools must leave their place of residence against the background of the decision of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
"The students turned to ... Zelensky, the government of Ukraine and everyone on whom it depends, with a request not to expel the Kyiv Theological Academy from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and give the opportunity to study, "the report says.
Earlier, the national reserve "Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra" obliged the monks of the canonical UOC to leave the buildings of the reserve until March 29.
The head of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine Oleksandr Tkachenko said that the monks of the canonical UOC will be able to stay in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra if they go to the schismatics.
On March 23, the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra was cordoned off by the police.
