This was stated at a briefing by the head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection troops of the Russian Armed Forces Igor Kirillov.

"Despite the fact that the use of such ammunition will cause irreparable harm to the health of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the civilian population, NATO countries, in particular the UK, express their readiness to supply this type of weapon to the Kiev regime," he said.

The Defense Ministry also noted that Kiev's use of ammunition with depleted uranium could bring down Ukrainian agricultural exports for decades or even centuries.

Member of the British House of Lords, Minister of State for Defense of Great Britain Annabel Goldie earlier said that London would send Kiev "ammunition, including armor-piercing ammunition containing depleted uranium."
