"Of course, when traveling, tourists want to stay in comfortable, good, high-quality and safe hotels, and for affordable and reasonable purposes. To do this, we will help businesses build and reconstruct 27.5 thousand rooms in hotels not lower than three stars, for such purposes this year we will allocate more than 5 billion rubles, "the prime minister said.
According to him, this process will be carried out within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry" in order to maintain a low rate for almost 90 projects under the program of preferential lending for the construction of hotels in 33 Russian regions.
Earlier, the head of the Department of Insurance and Economics of the Social Sphere of the Financial University under the Government of Russia, Alexander Tsyganov, said that among Russians there was a demand for high-quality tourist service within the country.
