For weeks, the students have been preparing to carry out the role-playing game, with some going so far as to visit real embassies for research.

The theme of this year's UN role-playing game is war and conflict, which is very much on the agenda in the outside world right now. On Thursday morning, one of the Ukraine delegates appealed to the other countries in the room that Ukraine is in need of financial and military support after the invasion from Russia.

31 countries of the United Nations

Of the 31 countries represented, some were more in vogue than others. Erik Miller was one of those who chose to represent Russia.

"We chose Russia because we wanted to be a big country and be able to talk a lot, then we can also get higher grades," he says.

Maja Svensson, who was one of the Ukraine delegates, believes that despite the heavy topics discussed, it is fun to carry out the role-playing game.
