"Michel wants to return to the air before the end of the season. In any case, it will not be for April," Stéphane Sitbon-Gomez, director of antennas and programs of the public group, told the newspaper.

According to Le Parisien/Aujourd'hui en France, confirming information from the magazine Voici, the host-star was operated on Monday in a Parisian hospital.

"The operation went very well," Sitbon-Gomez said Thursday.

Drucker was hospitalized for tests in early February, three years after his first major heart operation.

As a result of this hospitalization, the numbers of his show "Vive dimanche", on Sunday at midday on France 3, had been replaced by reruns.

Since September 2022, this show created in 1998 has gone from France 2 to France 3.

The host's recent health problems have also led to the interruption of his autobiographical show, "De vous à moi", on display at Studio Marigny in Paris.

In 2020, Michel Drucker was hospitalized for nearly three months due to heart surgery followed by complications. He was absent from the screens for seven months and returned in March 2021.
