The second crime concerns one of the men who had a dog that had been loose or has torn himself and demolished a reindeer. It is also said to have occurred during the same time period. According to the indictment, the man failed to keep his dog in a band or trapped, or attached the dog in such a way that it could tear itself away when there were reindeer in the area.
