The IT track is a specially adapted education for people with what is often referred to as high-functioning autism. The education has been run in project form since 2012 at Campus I12 in Eksjö. It was last year that the politicians in the region and the municipalities decided that the education should become a commissioned education at some folk high school.
Since the turn of the year, the education has been housed at Ädelfors folk high school in Holsbybrunn in Vetlanda municipality. Folkhögskolan runs the education on behalf of Region Jönköping County, which finances the education together with the county's three coordination associations.
