This was stated by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a speech in the State Duma.

"Tomorrow at a government meeting we will consider a bill on the creation of a free economic zone in these subjects. And we will submit it to the State Duma," he said.

Mishustin noted that the government is counting on support from parliamentarians.

He also noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin set a goal for the government - in eight years to bring new regions to the all-Russian level in all respects.

"And in the near future we will complete the preparation of the appropriate program of socio-economic development," the head of government said.

In addition, Mishustin said that the government in 2022 sent about 4 trillion rubles to regional budgets.
