It was on Monday that the police were alerted to the primary school in Jämjö, when a student acted threateningly with a knife.

The student was quickly taken care of at the site, while the other students and staff were locked into the classrooms according to previously rehearsed routine.

The suspected 15-year-old has been in custody since the incident, under the offence of attempted murder. On Thursday, word came that the boy will be remanded in custody by prosecutors. The 15-year-old's defender Henrik Månsson confirms this to SVT.

- I've got that information today.

As for the suspicions and the boy's motives, defense attorney Henrik Månsson is few words.

"He's very young and it's also early in the investigation, so I can't say much," he says.
