During the night, the home care service in Umeå became aware of the problems with the social alarms.
– The alarms do not arrive at the alarm center at the supplier. These are technical problems. We don't know when it will work again," says Magnus Börlin.
Umeå municipality has activated a crisis group where they work according to a priority list.
– We call all affected users and make more home visits. We also check if we can staff up.
At present, everything that is not urgent is prioritized away, such as cleaning, laundry and walking.
The company Careium has 150 municipalities in Sweden as customers. All of them are affected, according to the company.
