In a note obtained by Europe 1, the Paris intelligence services fear a more radical mobilization in its mode of action during the ninth day of demonstrations against the pension reform. A "spirit of last baroud" that the services attribute in particular to the arrival of young disruptors in the processions.

The ninth day of mobilization against the pension reform takes place in an unprecedented context: it is the first since the adoption, Monday by forceps, of the bill by Parliament. For this Thursday, between 600,000 and 800,000 people are expected in the street, including 40,000 to 70,000 people in Paris, by the intelligence services. Between 800 and 1,200 Yellow Vests and radical elements could also be added to the movement. A new day of protest that many police are apprehensive.

For the past week, most have had to deploy every night in the city centers of metropolises to deal with wild gatherings. And this Thursday could be marked by excesses. Indeed, according to information gathered by Europe 1, the intelligence services fear a more radical mobilization in its mode of action. A "spirit of last baroud", qualifies the Parisian intelligence in a note that Europe 1 has obtained.

Arrival of young disruptors in the processions

This document shows that the face of mobilization is changing. Until now, the young people mobilized were very politicized, most of them activists or activists. But in recent days, the police have been observing the arrival in the conflict of young disruptors, without any particular political demands. They join the demonstrations to commit abuses and confront the police. A youth perceived by the intelligence as "galvanized by the occupations of public roads".

High school students, focused on the anticipated exams of the baccalaureate that ended Wednesday will also swell the processions, as will feminist, ecologist and undocumented collectives. For their part, the Yellow Vests are "intoxicated by the insurrectional climate", according to the terms of the intelligence.

Finally, the last fear is to be found on the side of the unions. The organizations are concerned about the outbreak of violence that could keep families away from the processions, and leave the streets to radicals. At the risk of seeing the movement escape them for the benefit of the most hard-line strikers.
