On Thursday, a new snowstorm swept over Västerbotten and large amounts of snow have fallen along the coast.

Many are less on the snow now – but not the otter in Hörnefors.

"Suddenly it came running in the residential district. It climbed onto a snow pile and went down the cane. It looked like it wanted to play, at least it looked very playful," says Löfgren.

"Appreciated the snow more than me"

Maria Löfgren believes that the otter came from the river that flows through the community and that it was on its way to the sea, which is a bit away from the residential quarter.

"I hurried to get out my phone and had time to film a bit anyway. It seemed to appreciate the snow more than me, I stood and shoveled and sweated. I got my spirits up after that anyway, it was great to see right outside the house," she said.
