One of the two arrested for the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl on Tuesday in the toilets of a supermarket in Alicante has been released as a result of the investigation while the other will go to court next Friday.
Sources of the case have informed EFE that the investigations have questioned the role that was initially thought to have had one of the detainees, 22 years old, so he has been released after spending about 24 hours in the dungeons of the provincial police station of the National Police of Alicante.
The investigation continues its course and in principle foresees that the other arrested, also 22 years old, will go to court next Friday for an alleged crime of sexual assault on a child under 16 years of age.
The rape occurred, supposedly, this Tuesday around 16 hours in the toilets of a supermarket in the Alicante neighborhood of Pla, where the minor was alone and was approached by the two individuals.
According to the victim's account, after the sexual assault the two men continued to threaten her with a knife and took her to the surroundings where they abused her again.
