Through DNA, the county administrative board has determined that there are three individuals. But they judge that only one individual is inside the community – most likely a young male.

"In situations of predators in communities, something is likely to lure the animal in towards the community. The County Administrative Board therefore urges residents in the area to review their surroundings to see if anything can attract the wolf." This is what the county administrative board writes in a press release.

"For example, feeding other game near communities can attract predators and lead to them exhibiting less timid behavior. To avoid the wolf getting used to people's presence, the County Administrative Board also urges that you should not seek out the wolf, "writes the County Administrative Board of Västernorrland in the press release.
