The prosecutor wants them sentenced to juvenile probation — a relatively new sentence that imposes certain restrictions and continuous contact with probation.

Two of the boys are also suspected of aggravated assault on a public servant.

During the trial, all of them have denied any wrongdoing, and the defenders urged that they should be released as they have been subjected to peer pressure by the elderly and, for example, forced to throw stones.

This is one of the first judges after the riots with such young defendants. The verdict will be announced during the day.
