Prime Minister Kishida left India for Ukraine on the 21st, Japan time via Poland, without announcing the schedule in advance.

At a summit meeting with President Zelensky, Prime Minister Abe announced that Japan would provide 3000 million dollars to support non-lethal equipment to Ukraine, and conveyed Japan's intention to steadily provide necessary assistance in the future.

He also conveyed his intention to demonstrate his determination to fully uphold the international order based on the rule of law at the G5 Hiroshima Summit in May, and President Zelensky will participate online.

After that, Prime Minister Kishida returned to Poland to meet with President Duda and Prime Minister Morawiecki, respectively, and expressed his gratitude for the cooperation during his visit to Ukraine, and expressed his intention to support Poland through ODA = Official Development Assistance, noting that the burden on Poland, which is a base for humanitarian assistance, is increasing.

After completing a series of schedules, Prime Minister Kishida returned to Japan on a chartered plane around 7:23 a.m. on May 6.
