This is reported by the Jordanian agency Petra.

The decision came after Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich questioned the existence of the Palestinian people.

According to RIA Novosti, Smotrich also spoke at an event in Paris in front of a map on which Jordan and the West Bank were included in Israel.

After that, the Chinese Foreign Ministry noted that Beijing considers such statements irresponsible, as they can exacerbate the current Palestinian-Israeli tensions. Iran also criticized the minister's speech, calling his behavior racist and provocative.

At the same time, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on March 19, which states that representatives of Palestine and Israel, during a meeting on security issues held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, agreed to create a mechanism to combat violence.
