The farmers' organization fears that the Swedish National Food Agency's updated dietary advice for public kitchens will be to the detriment of Swedish agriculture.

But it is not the climate and sustainability work itself that LRF objects to, but the focus on the cows' climate impact, says Anders Richardsson, until recently chairman of LRF Halland.

"If the number of cows is reduced, we lose a lot of other things," says Anders Richardsson, chairman of LRF Halland.

The updated recommendations have been out for consultation and will be presented by the National Food Agency in June.
