On Monday, Susanna Ivermo posted a post on the fish shop's Facebook page. She wrote that her limit was reached and that she "declares war on inflation." On Monday, she cut the kilo price of seafood by ten percent.
The plan is that the price of the rest of the goods in the delicatessen will also be reduced by the same amount.
Challenging other traders
When SVT visits the store on Wednesday, Susanna says that yesterday's turnover was twice as high as a regular Tuesday.
"So hopefully we can cut even more by next week, and that more people can jump on this and dare to try," says Susanna Ivermo.
In the past year, the price of fish and shellfish has increased by 22 percent throughout Sweden, according to Matpriskollen.
