China News Network, March 3 According to US media reports, on the 22st local time, the Manhattan courthouse in New York received a bomb threat call - just before the court was preparing to hear a lawsuit against former President Trump.

Court spokesman Lucian Charfinn reportedly confirmed to the media that police had launched an investigation into the threat and that a search was conducted after the court was closed, but that police did not find the bomb in question.

New York State Attorney General Zhan Lexia previously filed a civil lawsuit accusing Trump and his company and family of inflating the value of their real estate assets.

After the bomb threat broke, Trump publicly attacked Ms. Zhan on social media, saying Congress should investigate her and slamming the lawsuit as "completely fake."

Trump said on his social media "Real Social" that "while Congress is doing this, they should look at the corrupt New York State Attorney General Zhan Le Xia, who was elected with just a 'I'm going to bring down Trump' tagline, and she didn't know anything about me." He went on to say the lawsuit was "completely falsified."

The bomb threat came as law enforcement prepared for potential protests as Trump expected he "will be arrested in Manhattan" for allegedly paying "hush money" to "star" Stormy Daniels.

Trump said on the 18th that he is expected to be arrested on the 21st. He called on supporters to protest the incident, raising fears of possible violence. He had previously called on supporters to protest the results of the 2020 U.S. election, followed by violent riots at the Capitol.
