After two straight losses in the Swedish Championship quarterfinals against Örebro, it was a bit of a knife to the throat for Timrå IK on Tuesday night.

And it was the red-and-white gang that emerged victorious from that clash.

Forward Jonathan Dahlén decided the game, a minute and a half in the fifth and final period when he pushed the puck in to 4-3 for the visitors.

Dahlén was involved in more or less everything against Örebro. In addition to the decisive goal equalized to 1-1 in the first period and was also noted for assist points for both the 2-3 and 3-3 goals.

SVT met coach Ante Karlsson on Wednesday afternoon. By then, the team had just come home after last night's game. A bus crash put an end to the return journey.

"It's not optimal, but it's gone well," he says.

The series against Örebro is played over best-of-seven games, but could be decided as early as Saturday if Örebro were to win in Timrå on Thursday night.

Listen to Timrå IK's coach Ante Karlsson talk about the feelings after the victory last time in the video.
