RMC Story said in a statement that "16 unpublished episodes" of this news show would be broadcast "soon" and presented by a "new duo": Mr. Delay and Dominique Rizet, police-justice consultant of BFMTV who was already co-presenter of "Bring in the accused".

Christophe Delay is a journalist and presenter of the news segment "First edition" from 06:00 to 08:30 from Monday to Friday on BFMTV.

Rachid M'Barki, who co-presented "Bring in the accused" since the show's arrival on RMC Story in 2020, was fired in February by the Altice group, to which this channel and BFMTV belong.

In question, suspicions of foreign interference in his work as presenter of the night news on BFMTV, which had pushed the first news channel of France to open in January an internal investigation.

This concerned news items broadcast on the air, in particular relating to Russian oligarchs, Qatar and Western Sahara.

A complaint against X for passive corruption and breach of trust was also filed on February 22, said the director general of BFMTV, Marc-Olivier Fogiel, on February 23 in an internal email announcing the dismissal of Mr. M'Barki.

Created in 2000 on France 2, "Bring in the accused" - the famous seventies thriller credits originally composed by Michel Legrand - traces each issue a major criminal case. The show was successively presented by Christophe Hondelatte (and his famous leather jacket) from 2000 to 2011, Frédérique Lantieri from 2011 to 2020, then Rachid M'Barki.

Dominique Rizet has also been present as a columnist since the beginning.

The show is produced by 17 juin Média, which belongs to the Newen group.
