Wednesday weather: rainy passage over a northwestern half of the country, sunny in the southeast

The degradation arrived during the night by Brittany will shift towards the interior of the country with its procession of regular waves over the regions of Brittany and Pays de Loire to the Belgian borders in the morning. These rains will be more marked on southern Brittany and will win during the afternoon Lorraine and will tend to diminish in the evening on Brittany and the coast of the Channel with some clearing.

Maritime entrances to the Gulf of Lion

The cloud gradient will stretch from the north of Aquitaine in Poitou-Charente to the Grand Est in the morning. Further ahead, the weather will be calm in the morning, but fogs will be frequent and will slowly dissipate giving way to a cloudy sky. From the Mediterranean to the Alps, sunny periods will be even more beautiful and lasting. With the sea wind, sea entrances will gradually reach the sky of the Gulf of Lion in the evening.

From Brittany to Hauts-de-France, the southwest wind will remain 60 to 70 km/h near the coast, 50 to 60 km/h in the interior. Minimum temperatures will drop between 1 and 6 degrees from the south of Burgundy Franche-Comté to the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean hinterland, with some local frosts. They will be milder elsewhere with 5 to 10 degrees, up to 12 degrees in Corsica and Roussillon. Highs will range from 13 to 19 degrees over the northern two-thirds, reaching 18 to 22 degrees further south, locally 23 degrees in the southwest.
