The middle-aged woman arrested for burning dozens of cars in Tui (Pontevedra) in the early hours of Monday was throughout the day observing the device deployed in the areas that were affected and even gave statements to the press.

The viewing of the cameras allowed the identification and arrest of this neighbor who previously came to say that she had never experienced anything similar.

The Civil Guard has indicated that "family disagreements" are behind this chain of fires in which the author would have used an accelerating product. Residents in the area have reported that this woman had a bad relationship with her sisters.
The Tudense local government held a meeting on Sunday night to articulate aid mechanisms for those affected and in it it has been announced that a company will remove the burned vehicles.
The detainee is awaiting trial.
