About this RIA Novosti told in the department.

Thus, the Foreign Ministry commented on the call of the former head of the Munich Security Conference Wolfgang Ischinger to create a contact group on Ukraine, in which he proposed to include the United States, France, Britain and Germany.

"Ischinger's idea raises legitimate questions. First of all, because all these four countries themselves are parties to the conflict with Russia, which continues on the territory of Ukraine," the ministry stressed, focusing on the fact that this idea was learned from the media.

The Foreign Ministry also separately indicated that the relevant states supply the Kiev regime and Ukrainian terrorists with weapons, intelligence, as well as train militants and send their mercenaries to the SVO zone.

Earlier, Ischinger in an article for the newspaper Der Tagesspiegel called for the launch of a peace process for Ukraine.
