It is noted that the parties express serious concern about the military-biological activities of the United States carried out on American territory and beyond. It is emphasized that this activity poses a serious threat to the security of other states and entire regions.
The Russian and Chinese sides demand that Washington give explanations in this regard and not to carry out any biological activities that contradict the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on Their Destruction, as well as not to obstruct the creation of a mechanism for verifying compliance with the obligations under this Convention.
In February, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Russia regards the military-biological activities of the United States and its allies near its borders as a potential threat to the country's security.
