Several people were in the house, no one was physically injured.

"The person who was requested to be detained on reasonable grounds on suspicion of attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences," says Lina Elfwing, a prosecutor leading the investigation.

The prosecutor had requested that the suspect's identity be kept secret on the grounds that "it can be assumed that the suspect or close relatives may be endangered or seriously harmed." Uppsala District Court has followed this line, which is not common in arrests.

Getaway car found

For some time now, two people have been detained in absentia on suspicion of the shooting. The two were wanted by police in the media. Hours later, one's father was murdered in Tullinge in southern Stockholm. The prosecutor would not comment on whether either of the two has now been detained and remanded in custody. Nor if more detentions can be expected. The police have previously announced that they seized two weapons and held hundreds of interrogations in the investigation of the shooting and a blast shortly before that in central Uppsala. A possible getaway car has also been found.

Is that car part of the evidence against the now detainee?

"I can't comment on that," Elfwing says.

According to information to SVT, the attack in Fullerö may be linked to the recent wave of violence in which several criminal networks and the so-called Fox from Uppsala are suspected of being involved.
