Turkish Foreign Ministry welcomes agreement on normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia

This is stated in the statement of the Foreign Ministry.

"Our country is contributing to the process of normalizing relations between Kosovo and Serbia, especially in the issue of electricity distribution," the Foreign Ministry said.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed the hope that Serbia and Kosovo "will achieve concrete results by fully complying with the provisions of the agreement under consideration."

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic earlier announced the achievement of agreements with Pristina on several points at once.

According to him, Pristina during the negotiations pledged to begin the formation of a community of Serbian municipalities in Kosovo and Metohija.

Vucic added that Serbia's progress towards the EU depends on the implementation of agreements with Kosovo.
