Last week came hd's indicative verdict, in which two men had their prison sentences reduced from five years to three years and three months each for aggravated sabotage of blue-light activities. Today's district court ruling is the first after the HD ruling.

Orebro profile Hani Bilal Madi was sentenced to three years in prison. On top of that, five more men and one woman were charged. Örebro District Court sentences four of the men to prison for aggravated sabotage of blue light activities. Sentences range from one year to three years and six months.

The woman, who is 21, is sentenced to one year in prison for aiding and abetting aggravated sabotage of blue-light activities.

The question of damages

Örebro District Court notes that the police officers in Sveaparken have been subjected to gross violations by the attacking crowd, of which the defendants in the case have been a part. But they follow the Supreme Court's reasoning that the defendants did not victimize the individual police officers. As a result, all claims for damages are dismissed.

Another verdict is expected

Monday's verdict is a partial verdict, meaning one verdict remains on two of the defendants in the case. The district court has ordered that one of the defendants undergo a forensic psychiatric examination and regarding the other, that person's age must be investigated. According to the judgment, there is an uncertainty as to whether the person is of criminal age or not. This will now be investigated further.
