The lawsuit was considered in the framework of the case on the recovery of 15.6 billion rubles of losses for the termination of the agreement on the contract assembly of German cars in Nizhny Novgorod.
"The Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region determined: the application of the limited liability company GAZ Automobile Plant to satisfy the adoption of interim measures," the court said in a statement.
The court decided to seize the property controlled by Volkswagen aktiengesellschaft, as well as several real estate objects of Volkswagen Group Rus LLC.
Earlier, a court in Germany rejected Rosneft's lawsuit against the German government, supporting the transfer of its assets under external management.
