"Yes I will vote the motion of censure carried by Charles de Courson" (Liot) but "not that of the National Rally, it is obvious," he assured on Europe 1, a few hours before the National Assembly votes on these two motions.

"If it is necessary to go through this electroshock and this political alert, I assume it," added Mr. Pradié, assuring to act "as a patriot and not as a political opponent".

According to him, the number of LR deputies ready to vote for censure are "maybe a fortnight, I do not know if there are more". Their numbers are crucial in whether or not censorship is adopted, which seems unlikely.

"This is a step, it will not be enough" and "it is now necessary that the President of the Republic has an initiative to bring the country together," said Mr. Pradié who denounced a law "poisoned, made of full of democratic vices".

"You cannot support this passage in permanent force, this law voted in implausible conditions," he added.

In Le Figaro on Monday, the boss of the LR deputies Olivier Marleix called on his colleagues to "responsibility" by estimating that those who will vote a motion "will serve the soup to Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Marine Le Pen".

"The responsibility is not to abandon the voice of the people to the extremes. I refuse that the alternative tomorrow is Marine Le Pen or Jean-Luc Mélenchon," Pradié said.

As for the promise of the RN not to present a candidate against the LR who would vote censure, in case of dissolution, he assured him: "I beg the leaders of the RN to put a candidate in front of me, it is the best way to give them an electoral lesson".
