Mali: blocking of roads in the Kayes region by the movement "Je suis les routes de Kayes"

In Mali, the movement "I follow the roads of Kayes" has decided to "block from Monday morning midnight all roads throughout the Kayes region", in western Mali, and for 24 hours. This is due to the poor state of roads in the region, although several of them are strategic axes for the transport of goods. With this blockade, the objective is to challenge the authorities, explains Modibo Sissoko, spokesperson for the movement joined by Pauline Le Troquier of the Africa editorial team.
