It was in September that Ulf Sandberg was stabbed on an open street in Oskarshamn. The technical investigation showed that Sandberg received up to eight stab wounds to the chest, from the 27-year-old, and that it was those injuries that took his life.

The case has received a lot of attention, as Sandberg was a popular profile in Oskarshamn, and other things for his involvement in the city's ice hockey. After the murder, a manifestation was also held, which was arranged by IK Oskarshamn's supporters.

The murder was filmed

The evidence in the case has been strong, according to the prosecutor - as much of the process was filmed by the perpetrators. On the film, you could see how Sandberg was severely beaten, and you can also hear how the now murder-convicted 27-year-old says that he will retrieve the knife that was used to stab Ulf Sandberg to death.

The 27-year-old's lawyer has previously claimed it could be another perpetrator seen in the film.

That the 30-year-old man was not charged with murder is because the footage shows him telling the 27-year-old not to pick up the knife. Instead, he is convicted of aggravated robbery.
