"It is clear that scammers located in the west of Ukraine, with the help of the number substitution service, put the code 995 from Georgia, so that it looks like our code 985. A person confuses and thinks that this is a Russian cellular. There is only one reason: the caller introduces himself as an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. After leading questions, he clarifies that the unit is from the Moscow region. He cannot explain anything about the location of the unit and the chief, but he claims that an inspection is being carried out in your respect under Article 327 of the Criminal Code of Russia. Like, some persons accuse you of forging a power of attorney and stealing money from someone else's account, "the expert said.
Then everything is as usual: scammers ask what accounts you have, what is on them, let's check whether the stolen money did not go there, the lawyer warned.

As the lawyer emphasized, the basic rules remain the same: representatives of law enforcement agencies do not clarify official issues with citizens by phone.

Everything will be procedurally formalized and asked to sign. This is a rule established by law. Who does things differently, or breaks the law, or is a fraud.
