According to the Swedish Armed Forces, this is the first time ever that a Swedish military exercise starts with a radio-broadcast mobilization message, and if it fulfills the function it is intended, it may be used in future exercises.

– We will decide this after the exercise and in consultation with Swedish Radio, says Lieutenant Colonel Ronnie Uddén, who is responsible for planning the mobilization moment during Aurora 23.
