The series of crimes for which the men are now charged allegedly began to be committed two years ago. Of the twelve charges, there are several serious violent crimes. The trio were stopped after they allegedly tied a man to a chair and demanded him for 50,000 crowns.

The men also allegedly beat the victim with a hammer and baton.

When he was unable to pay, the victim's relatives were contacted, who were also pressed for money. Police were able to trace the trio to the apartment where the victim was also located, and the men were arrested. The men are charged in that case with aggravated assault and kidnapping.

Threatened man with carbonation gun

One of the men is also charged with threatening another man on several occasions starting two years ago. It started with messages threatening aggravated violence and ended with him allegedly threatening the victim with a revolver-like object.

The victim says in interrogation that he was standing outside a grocery store when the man arrived with his car and through the window pointed the weapon at him.

The accused man then allegedly got out of the car and demanded money from the victim for writing to his former girlfriend. The weapon turned out to be a carbonation gun, but the victim's fear makes the incident classified as a serious unlawful threat.

Fired in the face

Two of the three men were also charged with attempted aggravated extortion and aggravated assault last year. They allegedly lured the victim to a place where they then beat and kneed the man, and threatened him with a machete. They also allegedly burned the man in the face.

According to the prosecutor, the man was beaten in order for him to give the defendants Rs 150,000 crore.
